KTM Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport , Kathmandu to AMS Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport,
It was a smooth journey although the delay from Kathmandu could have caused me to be late on my connecting flight in Doha and onward journey. Food was better than my first trip although the stewardess almost forgot to give me my special request meal- which happened twice.

KTM Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport , Kathmandu to ATL Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport,
Mine was a longer journey and transits were many and long ones too, but overall I guess peoples' " routes via India is a big mess" is an exaggeration. It was not that much a big deal; thankfully the officers were polite and helpful, and my luggage was safe too. I guess it was worth the comparatively inexpensive deal.

Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport

what exactly is the point of being strip-searched three (3!!!) times within 100 meters (departures)? and it seemed like confiscating lighters were all they cared about. that and giving people a hard time for no reason. the baggage claim during arrival is a big joke. one of my bags nearly made it to the x-ray machine all by itself! you need 10 eyes all around you to spot and reclaim your luggage. on the other hand, the area after you pass immigration (while leaving KTM) and before the strip-search starts looks pretty good. lots of shops and nice decors.
